At 1.30 am yesterday morning , 1 October, a 52 year-old Pellsrus man was allegedly stabbed in the face and robbed by three men who made off with electronic equipment, a laptop clothing and other items.
The man was asleep in his house at the time and and awoke when the thieves entered. A struggle between the suspects and the victim then ensued and one of them allegedly stabbed the homeowner in the face with a knife. The suspects then fled with the goods.
According to Gerda Swart of the SAPS Corporate Communication Uitenhage, EC, the man then alerted the police. No arrests have yet been made and police are following up leads. Jeffreys Bay are investigating a case of house robbery.
