PUNTA DE LOBOS, Pichilemu, Chile (Friday, May 1, 2015): Reigning World Surf League (WSL) Big Wave Champion Makuakai Rothman of Hawaii (above) emerged victorious today at the opening event of the 2015/2016 WSL Big Wave season, the Quiksilver Ceremonial Chile, in pumping 20-foot-plus surf at Punta de Lobos.
Grant Baker of Durban, South Africa (above) earning a fifth place finish during the Quiksilver Invitational in Punta de Lobos, Pichilemu, Chile where he competed in 20ft plus (six meter surf) on Friday May 1, 2015.
Quiksilver Ceremonial is the opening event of the 2015 World Surf League Big Wave World Tour Season.
