An identity kit has been released by the Port Elizabeth detective team of a ‘person of interest’ and possible suspect in the murder of Jayde Panayiotou.

The 28 year-old Jayde, a school teacher from Riebeeck High School in Uitenhage, was abducted at about 6:30 am in Kabega Park on 21 April.
Her body was found in 22 April at about 10 am when the crew of the SAP helicopter participating in the search for her noticed an object in an isolated area near KwaNobuhle Township in Uitenhage. Further investigation by members on the ground led to the recovery of the body of Ms Panayiotou in the area spotted from the helicopter.
The post mortem will indicated the cause of death and police will continue hunting for her abductors and killers.
