Due to the wet weather conditions today the planned tarring of the Sand River bridge has had to be postponed until tomorrow, 6 December 2012..

The bridge will remain open today.

This was revealed by Nigel Aitken of the St Francis Bay Residents’ Association this morning. He said the bridge will be closed for tarring tomorrow between 8 am. and 5 pm and motorists need to make arrangements accordingly. 

“Apologies to everyone for the inconvenience – we are in the hands of the weather!”
