There was an extremely fun trip down memory lane last night as dozens of the mostly St Francis Bay local 30s-40s-set dressed up in 1980s outfits to party up a storm at the St Francis Bay Golf Club.
The event that saw people partying till the wee wee hours this morning, was in aid of TaeKwonDo Nationals Tournament and it’s believed a substantial amount of funds was raised. Keith Donaldson provided the music and kept everyone on the dance floor while Heather and Graham provided the nutritious supper, including vegetarian fare.
Best dressed went to Shaun Kennedy by crowd vote that won him a voucher donated by Erica Ellis. The Lucky draw went to Christelle Van Wyk, who won a bottle of wine donated by Marryette Bakkes.
This morning everyone was talking about the event and there were quite a few sleepy souls.
