Three suspects allegedly entered a Kwanobuhle home at 1:40 am today, 24 April, threatened the resident and made off with cell phones, a flat screen TV and a VW Polo vivo.
Lt Gerda Swart, official spokesperson for the Uitenhage and Humansdorp SAPS. says alert police officials from SAPS Kwanobuhle in the Uitenhage area arrested two suspects aged 35 and 39 and recovered the hijacked Polo vivo in Jobela Street, within minutes after it was allegedly taken from the house in Mwahla Street.
All stolen items were recovered. A third suspect is still at large.
The two suspects are due to appear in the Kwanobuhle Magistrate’s court on 26 April on a charge of house robbery.
