Police arrested a 27 year-old man at roadblock near Tsitsikamma for being in possession of an illegal firearm and ammunition on 30 November.

He was a passenger in a taxi travelling from George. During a police roadblock and search of a taxi on the N2 police found Papane hiding an unlicensed firearm in his pants.

He was refused bail in the Storms River Magistrate’s Court on 1 December and the case was postponed to 8 December 2015.
