A Jeffreys Bay woman in her early 20s was hijacked yesterday at 2 pm outside Checkers in Da Gama Road.
She was was pushed into the car boot, driven to Kabeljous, taken out the vehicle and left behind by the suspects who made off in her car.
SAP Uitenhage Communications have confirmed the woman was approached by three unknown men, requesting some change on 27 April 2015.
It is believed she opened her boot to get her handbag out.
“The suspects pushed her into the back of her vehicle and drove off and dropped her at Kabeljous.”police said. “They fled in the VW Polo Vivo . The woman was taken to hospital for treatment. A formal case was opened last night.”
