This Isuzu bakkie was found at the Sand River temporary bridge early this morning, 19 April 2015.
There were no passengers around when these photos were taken.
Many vehicles have suffered the same fate since the bridge first washed away in floods in 2011. Some vehicles were complete write offs.
Earlier this year at least one person died in a nasty accident on this bridge.
The bridge does an S-bend and is insufficiently protected or barricaded and there are no lights at the crossing.
