St Francis Bay detectives are investigating charges of attempted murder and attempted house robbery after a man was stabbed in a Cape St Francis house in the early hours of yesterday morning.
Basil Seekoei of SAP Corporate Communications, Uitenhage, said a 61 year-old man was confronted by another person in a house in the early hours of this morning. The suspect allegedly forced a window opened to get into the private house.
It’s believed a fight between the suspect and the 61 year-old man broke out, during which the latter was stabbed in the face.
The injured man was transported to a Port Elizabeth hospital, which cannot be named for safety reasons. A seasoned detective has been appointed to investigate the case. No arrest has been made.
