Two female surfers, rescued a Swiss man in his 20s who got into difficulty while surfing in the sea at Cape St Francis main beach today, 4 February 2015.
The NSRI St Francis Bay volunteer duty crew responded to the Cape St Francis beach and found the man had already been brought safely ashore by the two women.
NSRI says it has has no other information about the incident and the two surfers are known only as the ‘Watts girls’.
The man was taken to hospital by ambulance in a serious but stable condition suffering near drowning symptoms. He is reported to be recovering well.
