There has just been a head on collision on the N2 near the Gamtoos Bridge. Three people passed away in the accident and two people were injured.
According to Kouga Municipality spokesperson, the N2 is closed while emergency services are on the scene.
Motorists are advised to take the Thornhill/Hankey turn-off to the R102. They can then get back onto the N2 at Mondplaas.
No more information is available about the accident itself.
