Rising surf star Crystal wins 2nd national title

St Francis Bay’s rising surf star Crystal Hulett now has two national surfing titles to add to her impressive surfing career.

Last week she was declared the U16 SA Longboard Champion at Muizenberg. Last year in October she was the U15 winner of the Hurley SA Junior Champs held at Point Jeffreys Bay.

Her amazing spirit and success have once again brought home the kudos for EP, making the province, her family members and St Francis Bay extremely proud.

Without a doubt she is fast following the successes of her surfing champion aunt Phillippa Hill, and cousin, Michelle, who along with the rest of her talented family have been coaching her .

Thanks are due specifically to the support and coaching of her parents Nevil and Liesel Hulett, and to her family team, the Hill family of Dave, Philippa and Michael Leighton,  Michelle and Len Van Kempen. Thanks are also due to  Grrana Energy for the winning longboard .
