New speed on St Francis Roads is 50 km p/h

The speed for drivers on all St Francis Bay streets  is now 50 kms per hour and not 40 kms p/h.

This was announced today by St Francis Bay Residents Association (SFBRA) that also advised that the Traffic Department is in the process of installing 50 kms  speed signs in a number of streets in St Francis Bay.

“It should be borne in mind that in most towns in South Africa 60 k,s per hour is the legal speed limit.”

In other news, the SFBRA advised that the entire mains water pipe in Lyme Road North will be replaced shortly.  The pipes and their couplings are due to be delivered in the next few days.

“We are sure this will be a great relief to residents in that street who have constantly had their houses flooded due to regular bursting of pipes.”
