People pinching from burnt houses and racing trucks

Numerous complaints have been received by the St Francis Bay Residents’ Association (SFBRA) of people entering  properties where houses were burnt down and and removing paving and other items.

There have also been complaints of speeding trucks.

Nigel Aiken of the SFBRA says he has requested the SAP to be more active in the canal areas and apprehend anyone found illegally on these properties.  If residents notice any suspicious activities they should also report it to the police.

He says complaints about trucks centre on the excessive speeds they travel at. Trucks are also dropping building rubble on the roads.

St Francis Bay residents are asked to take down the registration number of such offending vehicles.  The Traffic Department has also been requested to spend more time in St Francis Bay monitoring these vehicles for speed and road worthiness.
