Temp repairs to some bad sections of SFB roads

The St Francis Bay Residents’ Association contracted John Hanley from St Francis Brick to conduct temporary repairs to those bad sections of road, specifically in St Francis Drive to the Port.

Effectively, from the dip in St Francis Drive, just before Harbour Road through to the Port, all bad sections are now far more accessible.  The other sections that have been done are the bend in Lyme Road North and the bend in Tarragona Road.

“Once again a big appeal to all motorists to drive cautiously and slowly through these repaired areas,”the Association says.

We will be contacting council on Monday to have a planning session. The main objective is to prioritise all of the issues that need addressing and to be completed prior to the end of the November when the first holiday makers arrive.

“One of the other issues that we also need to address next week is; if there is going to be Disaster Relief monies made available by government, that these monies are correctly channelled and that we have our fair share of the funds made available.” the Association adds
