March update and pothole news 4 September 2012
Considerable interest is being shown in the march planned for 12 September 2012 in JeffreysBay, according to the St Francis bay Residents’ Association (SFBRA). Most Fekrra (Federation of Kouga Ratepayers & Residents Associations) members say their residents will be taking part.
The SFBRA believes this is an indication of frustrations being felt in the breakdown of infrastructure in Kouga region.
Owing to yesterday’s rains it was not possible to slurry or fill potholes today, the SFBRA says. So teams are instead busy brushing Lyme Road South so that they can continue slurrying tomorrow. Potholes are being emptied and areas swept on St Francis Drive.
Pothole filling will continue tomorrow. The bad areas in Tarragona Drive are being tidied and filled temporarily with gravel, the SFBRA adds.
