Today will be a great day for surfers says Billabong

A chilly morning in the EC greeted remaining surfers in the Billabong Pro Junior today.

There were clean, offshore four-foot lines at the perfect point break  of Sea Point. The swell that arrived yesterday in the storm has cleaned up, the direction has pulled from the south, and there are endless waves running down the heat for the business end of the competition.

The light north-west blowing up the point is predicted to go more into the south west later. This will be even better for the conditions and the surfers.

While the tide is going to bottom out late morning and push all day, this will make for some excellent conditions for the final heats. “There are going to be barrels out there,” Billabong predicts..

“With the wind dropping we will be seeing some serious air moves throughout the day, Billabong says adding that today will be big day for junior surfers.”
