28 July – Canals Winter Challenge

The annual Pam Golding Canals Winter Challenge , hosted by the St Francis Paddling Club, starts at the Cove, Shore Rd, at 10 am. Registration is from 9am. The long course is 20 kms and the short course 13 kms. R60 p/p
The race attracts top PE paddlers, like Richard von Wildemann, plus paddlers from East London, Plettenberg Bay, Knysna and even Gauteng.
The route around the canals is four times around the 5 kms route for the 20 kms race, and 2.5 times for the 13 kms race. For more info tel Richard on 083 284 0168.
