Stop Press!!! Gunmen hold up local petrol station and a car goes of the bridge

Gunmen rob petrol attendants

The St Francis Bay petrol station was reportedly held up by armed robbers last night at 6 pm.

The gun-toting robbers allegedly made off with cash, the office computer as well as the cell phones and IDs of the petrol attendants.

There have been no arrests. Police are investigating.

Car  lands in Sand River…

A  car swerved of the Sand River bridge last night and plunged into the river. Two people were taken to hospital.

Apparently beer bottles were found at the scene of the crash.

This is about the 10th known accident at the temporary Sand River Bridge.
