The NSRI’s annual car competition winners have been announced.
Trevor Wishart of Durban was drawn as the lucky winner of two Mitsubishi Pajeros in the Sea Rescue’s’ annual car competition.
The ten finalists, each of whom went home with a great prize, were invited to the Mitsubishi show rooms in Paarden Island yesterday for the lucky draw which was audited by Cecil Kilpin.
At 4 pm the winner of the Sea Rescue Monthly Draw Competition, Dave Kilshaw of Vaal Marina, was presented with his R100 000 prize. For only R50 per month, next year you could have 2 tickets into our monthly draw in which you stand a chance to win five monthly prizes to the value of R10 000 each… as well as entry into the grand annual draw of R100 000; which for 2011 was won by Dave.
Shortly after the Monthly Draw Winner was announced 9 of the 10 Car competition finalists were eliminated and Trevor Wishart was given the keys to his new cars by Western Province and Springbok rugby legend Corne Kriege.
The second prize, won by Raymond Ackerman ( Suzanne Ackerman-Berman was his proxy) is a trip for two to Spain, including grand-stand seats to the 2012 Spanish Grand Prix and superior three-star beach-resort accommodation.
