(By Bev Mortimer) A whopping R68 560 was raised today in the annual NSRI St Francis Bay golf day, held at St Francis Links.
There were 376 golfers taking part in this fun event that was handled with aplomb by professional MC, Jo Brown.

Preceding prize giving there was an auction with fabulous prizes being offered – from game reserve trips, golf days and weekends to holiday getaways.
The auction together with the substantiual amount of sponsors contributed to the big amount of money that was raised for NSRI.
Marc May , station commander of NSRI St Francis Bay, told the big crowd at prize giving that the funds raised would go towards training and maintenance. He thanked all the sponsors who helped make the day successful and who donated prizes and funds. He also thanked the St Francis Links and of course Jo Brown for the successful event.
In 2nd place were John Mann, Grant Andrews, Paul de Villiers and Russel Rustt. Third were Martine Strasheim, Erdam Strasheim, Sonja Kruger and Mr Kruger.
