Uncle Jumbo’s Christmas party in St Francis Bay

A not to be missed children’s Christmas event this year is Uncle Jumbo’s Safari Party that will be take place on 3 December 2011.

The Safari themed party to be held at St Francis College, will see Father Christmas arrive at 3 pm to hand out gifts for the children. There will also be puppet shows,  games and competitions devised by the College’s Earlyact team, a Junior Rotary club.

The party is not only for College kids. All children are invited to attend (as long as they are accompanied by their parents). Also entrance fee is R50 per child and pre-bookings are essential.

While the children have fun parents can settle on the lawns and have a picnic with their own pre-packed hampers from home or from food on sale at the tea garden and hot dog stand. Parents are encouraged to bring wrapped and labelled gifts for each child attending the party.

The party starts at 1 pm and continues until 4 pm. On arrival children are taken on a tractor ride, giving parents time to drop off their gifts at a collection point.

Tickets are available at the College (042 294 1395) and parents can call Bruce Brooker on 083 677 1041 for more info. Proceeds from the day will go towards various  Rotary projects in St Francis.
