Very rough seas and big sea swells are predicted from Sunday (21 August, 2011) onward, the NSRI has warned.
The bad sea conditions will occur from the West Coast, across the Cape Peninsula coastline, between Cape Point, Agulhas and Mossel Bay and progressing up the East Coast as the week advances and lasting late into next week.
Seafarers are urged to exercise extreme caution.
NSRI volunteers are on high alert to respond to sea rescue emergencies – as always.
