Sand River bridge update – all fine, bridge still open

Came back from PE today and crossed the bridge at 1 pm.

River is flowing swiftly through the outflow pipes and there is a steady amount of water gushing down from the Links side. Cars were traversing with ease.

This morning at 8 am Keith Donalsdson of the local disaster management team said the bridge was fine and was not going to be closed.
