35 km north of Shelley Beach, At 2.20 pm Bay View Ambulance service alerted NSRI Knysna station commander Graeme Harding to a 26 year old man from Midrand Gauteng who had dislocated his left knee at Die Blokke, At 4.29 pm Shelley Beach NSRI volunteers were called out to help the SAPS at Thurton Beach, At 5 pm the NSRI volunteers were called out for a boat overturned in the river mouth in Plettenberg Bay., Brenton-on-Sea., NSRI Knysna, Plett and Shelley Beach call-outs today 28 december 2012, search for a 17 year-old local who disappeared under the water while swimming.
