Car rolls just after the dip on the R330 to Humansdorp

Edited: Yesterday at about 1 pm a car rolled and ejected its passengers on the R330 road between St Francis Bay and Humansdorp .


The driver of the car escaped serious injury, a woman passenger had severe facial trauma and another passenger was initially unresponsive .
An eyewitness motorist in another vehicle saw a body lying in the road.
REMS Paramedics sent two ambulances to the accident scene, There they initiated Advanced Life Support care and performed a Rapid Sequence Intubation (RSI), to assist the patient’s breathing. The patient underwent needle decompression on the roadside.
The patient was transported to the Humansdorp Hospital in a critical condition for treatment.
The cause of the accident is unknown and the driver went away with the police.
