Two separate fires, one in Malema area on Friday and this morning in Zwelitsha, razed 10 shacks and 17 people have been left homeless.
Two of the victims in the Malema fire were rushed to hospital with severe burns. The cause of both fires is unknown at this stage. Requests are being made to members of the St Francis community to please assist with any kind of donations of clothing, food, groceries, refreshments, old mattresses, linen, blankets, pillows, shoes etc.
Donated goods can be left at Spar and at Calibre Security who have kindly agreed to accept donations and will be taken up to Sea vista by Calibre Security..
