Breaking: Edited, Late last night , 12 September Durban a body of a man was located and recovered at Bay of Plenty Beach in Durban and early indications are this could be the body of missing pilot, Andrew Blackwood-Murray, according to the NSRI.
However, the NSRI says: “Formal Police protocols and formal identification is still in progress to be observed respectfully in cooperation with family.”

The NSRI says Metro Police Search and Rescue, the SA Police Services and local security attended at Bay of Plenty Beach, Durban. The body was taken into the care of Police and Government Health Forensic Pathology Services. Police have opened an Inquest docket.
NSRI says condolences are conveyed to family, friends and colleagues. “The family has declined interviews respectfully requesting privacy in this difficult time.”
