By Bev Mortimer: On Sunday evening, last weekend, a driver of a silver Mercedes Benz lost control of his vehicle and crashed into a shack in Mooi-uitsig informal settlement, Humansdorp on Sunday evening , 3 August.
It is further alleged that a 13 year-old girl inside the shack was seriously injured and was taken to Livingstone hospital by EMS where she is currently receiving medical treatment.
The SAPS Captain Marius McCarthy says the investigation is on-going. “We can confirm that Humansdorp SAPS opened a reckless and negligent driving case after members visited the accident scene at about 7.30 pm on Sunday.
