Storms River murder: up to R10 000 reward offered

Police in Storms River, Eastern Cape,  have today offered a reward up to R10 000 for information which may lead to the arrest and successful prosecution of those involved in the murder of 70 year-old Corrie Claase.

Claase was found with stab wounds to his chest in the early hours of  28 February this year on his smallholding at Robbehoek , Storms River.  He and his wife, both elderly,  were surprised by an intruder at about 5 am. 

The wife ran to the neighbours for help while her husband stayed behind in their bedroom.  When the wife returned she discovered her husband’s body.

Police appeal to the public to assist them with any information that may lead to the arrest and conviction of the suspect/s. Anyone with info can contact Storms River SAP on
