Shaun Joubert into Round 2 of Hawaiian Pro

Shaun Joubert of  Mossel Bay, South Africa advanced into Round 2 of the REEF Hawaiian Pro at Ali’i Beach Park, Haleiwa, Hawaii yesterday,15 November 2012.In the opening heat of competition Joubert posted a winning heat total of 10.83 points (out of a possible 20.00) to secure first place over Hawaiians Torrey Meister, Makai McNamara and Eala Stewart and secure his place in Round 2.The Reef Hawaiian Pro is the first jewel of the Vans Triple Crown of Surfing and the second to last ASP Prime Event on the ASP Prime Tour.
