A delighted Jenny Suter, chairperson of St Francis Bay Community Home Care accepted a cheque for R750 from Enid Pretorius.
The money was raised from the entrance fees (after costs) for the Enid Pretorius Trail Walk and Run on National Women’s Day on 9 August 9,which attracted 106 entries from all over the country.
Says Pretorius, “This year we decided to donate the proceeds from entrance fees to the St Francis Bay Community Home Care organisation because we believe their service providing home care for our sick and elderly is one that is really important for our community.”
