The St Francis Bay Residents’ Association (SFBRA) has been informed by the municipality that as soon as the weather improves the pothole team will be working from the Port turn-off down St Francis Drive towards town.
The pipes needed to repair the two very bad sections of St Francis Drive have arrived and will be installed shortly.
The SFBRA also issued the following statement today (9 October 2012): “Further to the Mayor’s response to our Memorandum of Grievances handed to him when we marched on the 12 September, the Mayor wrote on 4 October stating that the “Municipal Manager and Directors are busy finalising short, medium and long-term strategies on how to take the municipality and service delivery forward.”
“Mayor Koerat stated “we would, however, like to assure you that we will be able to give you a more detailed response to your specific grievances by 31 October.”
